Xidas Park

Xidas Park is at the corner of South South Street and Sugartree Street (site of the former Manhattan Lounge). The park is an extension of the Luther Warren Peace Path, which previously terminated at Mulberry Street, and is part of the City of Wilmington’s Sugartree Street Corridor Plan.

The park features a pergola installed by Champion Bridge Company, Thompson Construction and Thirey Cabinet Makers, new landscaping designed and planted by the Clinton County Master Gardener Volunteers and led by Dori Sabino, a mason seating wall provided by Laurel Oaks, picnic tables, a bike rack, trash receptacles and a doggy waste bag dispenser.

Organizations and individuals that contributed to the project include Clinton County Regional Planning Commission, City of Wilmington, Wilmington Parks and Recreation, Wilmington College (Tara Lydy), Clinton County Master Gardeners Volunteers (Dori Sabino), Laurel Oaks (Shawn Wilkin), Champion Bridge Company, Thirey Cabinet Makers, Solid Ground Solutions (Nathan Caplinger), Thompson Construction, Hembree Paving, Mark Elliot and A&D Lawncare.
